Fuku Ikeda

 

 

 Fuku Ikeda is an artist from Japan. She was brought up in an old farm in Nara. After graduating from Koyo Conservatory jazz piano course, in 2012 she set up Castle Magic Studio making paper craftworks and handmade books. Most of her works are inspired by music, especially rhythm and her native village's nature . While working as a farmer, she designs and makes handmade books. More than 12 handmade books have been designed to date. she also performs improvisation concerts to transform graphics or the atmosphere of the place into sounds of voice and percussion. 池田不玖:アーティスト。 奈良県中部の農家に育つ。2012年にペーパークラフトと手描き手製本絵本の工房Castle Magic Studioを立ち上げる。現在も農作業に携わりながら、日々絵本のデザインと製作に勤しんでいる。また、音楽活動として、抽象的なグラフィックアートや空間を音とリズムに変換する即興演奏「言葉のない朗読会」などをしている。甲陽音楽学院ジャズピアノ科卒。
