PRISM IN MY MIND

This book is a little strange. The author is a bird who claims that it did an experiment. Please refer to the following 'abstract' by the bird for further details.

EXPERIMENT DONE BY A BIRD: PRISM IN MY MIND

I'm a bird called brown-eared bulbul or hiyodori in Japanese. The brown-eared bulbul is one of the most common birds in Japan. Some people don't like us because of our noisy squeaking calls, but others love our calls as a familiar sound in rural areas of Japan especially in cold winter morning. Anyway we enjoy singing or shouting all year around. We make various sounds of calls in each season. We are busy in daytime whenever it's fine weather.

But this early summer had a lot of rainy days. There was nothing to do. I was so bored and hungry, too. But I knew how to spend time. I decided to do an experiment I had wanted to do for a long time. I'd been interested in the mind of myself. Sometimes I feel as if my mind were " light". It can be dim, bright, even in orange in sunlight or in deep blue in moonlight. So I came up with this experiment. I put a prism in my mind and observed what was happening.

Actually the prism worked on the mind as it does on a beam of white light. I could make sure that a mind consists of a lot of different colors. Furthermore, I could extract each color mind exactly as it was and wrap them in blue, green, yellow, purple and red papers. Open those packages and examine things inside or a "mind".
